Tom Russell is the founder and former president of Heritage Christian Counseling Ministries. In retirement he became a Certified Professional Life Coach and continues to fulfill his dream of impacting people for the Kingdom of God. In 2024 he opened a new counseling practice called Heritage Christian Counseling of Mansfield where he continues to do both counseling and coaching.
After teaching school for 11 years, Tom began counseling in 1996. He works with individuals and families as they navigate the challenges of life, helping them to reach their full potential that God has for them.
Tom has a Bachelors of Education degree from Ohio State University, a Masters of Education degree from Ashland University, and a Masters of Pastoral and Clinical Counseling degree from Ashland Seminary.

He has been married to Kathy (Thomas) since 1975, and they have four children and nine grandchildren.
